Founded in 1998 by Roberta DiBisceglie with the belief that the wonders of the natural world inspire and renew the human spirit, Columbine develops and nurtures relationships between people and their gardens.  The work of our professional team is focused on large properties in Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.

A third generation horticulturist, Roberta trained at the New York Botanical Garden’s School of Professional Horticulture and has managed landscapes for over 20 years. A consultant for the Norwalk Pollinator Pathway and a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professional, Roberta served on the Advisory Board of the East Norwalk Neighborhood Association for three years. She has been volunteering as a mentor to a young person in the Norwalk public schools since 2016.
